Stroke Account
When a person receives a stroke it gets written into a record of strokes, i.e. Stroke account.
Every week, each member receives a weekly report, called a voucher, with a summary of strokes received. This is where you can see what was noticed and welcomed by your team members. A team member and the team manager will see this information and must confirm it before it gets added in the stroke account.
Knowing the recognitions and strokes you receive from others increases happiness and will make you more self-aware – and it also keeps updates on achievements and behaviour of your staff members visible.
Weekly “vouchers” are a personal summary of what has happened and are emailed to each member every week. They are available for you to review yours under My weekly reports.
The number of strokes in each voucher is transferred into your Account balance score, that is your account of strokes awarded for your Employeeship behaviour, performance in your key areas, or goal/milestone achievements. Strokes that a member receives are added to the profile score when they are confirmed by the member and the team leader.
